Time to Change Focus?
What does the marathon runners see while they run a race? What is a good time for them to change focus? How different would their perspective of the world be?
As a coach I watched the marathon last weekend in Toronto- which by the way was an amazing experience- and one thing struck me. Very many runners really enjoyed their journey but also many runners seemed hypnotized by the black asphalt streets of Toronto. To all of them who wants a change of perspective, here is a photo taken on the same weekend in Ontario. What I want to say is- for all the runners looking for a different perspective and new personal advice on marathon running from a coach, please drop coach Jim a note. For the rest- enjoy the colorful leaves and views on your next runs!
Tips from coach Jim: work on core and running tall. That will eventually improve your views of the city and make your next run so much rewarding.
